Jewish Community Services (JCS) offers several scholarships for Jewish high school seniors from the Baltimore Metro Area planning to attend an accredited U.S. college or university.
There is a scholarship available for a student with a documented diagnosed learning disability and several scholarships available for students from single-parent homes.
Scholarships are competitive. Recipients are chosen based upon several criteria, including academic performance, financial need, community and school involvement, and letters of recommendation.
Central Scholarship administers the application process for JCS scholarships.
Visit central-scholarship.org for information, instructions, and the online application.
No more applications are being accepted for 2019.
To be considered for a JCS scholarship, be sure to note on your application that you are Jewish and indicate that you are from a single parent home or have a learning disability.
