Older adults may experience unique mental health concerns as they cope with the physical, emotional, social and cognitive changes that occur with aging. Too often, symptoms are mistaken as a “normal” part of aging and they do not seek or receive the services they need. This can affect their functioning, health, and quality of life.
JCS has highly-trained and experienced licensed mental health professionals (social workers, professional counselors, psychologists, psychiatric providers) to help adults, older adults, children, adolescents and families. We provide brief consultations, individual, couples, family therapy, as well as psychiatric services, psychotherapy groups and psychological testing.
Our mental health professionals who work with older adults have expertise in aging. Professional training ensures the knowledge and skills necessary to understand the needs of elders.
Medicare and most private health insurances are accepted.
