Dear Community Members,
Jewish Community Services is dedicated to the wellbeing of our clients, volunteers, staff and community. We have been continuously monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, which has included guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Maryland Department of Health, our partner healthcare organizations, and The Associated.
Serving our community is our top priority. We want to ensure that we do so in a safe and responsible way during the COVID-19 outbreak and therefore we are making some temporary modifications to the way we provide our services.
JCS offices are temporarily closed to the public; however, we want to emphasize that we are continuing to provide services to our clients and the community using alternative means of meeting, including telehealth options.
- Our Access Center call line, 410-466-9200, is live during regular business hours. Staff are answering calls inquiring about services, information and resources.
- To expedite requests for mental health services, we recommend that individuals download, complete, and email required Intake Forms.
- We are providing online programs and groups to address both the emotional and practical concerns of community members during this challenging time. Visit our Calendar or jcsbalt.org/jcs-virtual for information.
This is a difficult and stressful time for all. Jewish Community Services remains committed to providing all members of our community with the support and resources they need to overcome whatever challenges they may be facing.
In our community, we are all responsible for each other. Kol Yisrael areivim zeh b’zeh. From that unity comes the strength that will see us through.
