*Career Services receives over 80% of its annual operating funds from contributions made to THE ASSOCIATED: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore. The remaining 20% of operating funds come from unsolicited donations, membership fees, and government funds. Membership fees help to defray a small portion of the actual cost of Career Center services. It is the policy of the Career Center that no member of the Baltimore Jewish Community be denied service because of an inability to pay.

Business Owners – Center for Business Development

The Center for Business Development (CBD) was founded in 1992 with the goal of helping members of the Baltimore Jewish community establish, maintain or expand their businesses or professional services.

We offer guidance and advice through our one-on-one mentoring service to existing companies, especially those having difficulty or seeking to expand, and to individuals seeking to start new ventures.

Our volunteer mentors are active or retired executives from varied business backgrounds.

The JCS Entrepreneur and Business Meetup provides current and future business owners with the opportunity to meet other local individuals who want to advance their businesses through round table discussions, networking, collaboration, and brainstorming.

The group meets each month at 5:30 pm at the Jewish Community Center – 5700 Park Heights Avenue to discuss business challenges and explore possible solutions.
